FoodX is looking for permanent, full-time Warehouse Coordinator for our Burnaby, BC warehouse (5566 Trapp Avenue, Unit 105). This shift is Sunday- Wednesday 8:30 pm- 7:00 am OR Wednesday-Saturday 8:30pm- 7:00am or Thursday-Sunday 8:30pm- 7:00am

• Lead the daily pack line activities, from the front line.
• Training and day-to-day performance coaching of Outbound Team Members
• Lead daily huddles and sync meetings
• Monitor and report on Outbound KPIs
• Assume responsibility for collective warehouse team, in the absence of supervisors and managers
• Assist with hiring, discipline and payroll for Outbound Team Members
• Engage and develop the team through coaching, support and regular feedback
• Lead with positivity and empathy, while ensuring that team members respect their peers and the requirements of their positions
• Help develop new procedures and improvements to current procedures
• Seek out and engage in opportunities to further personal leadership development
• Other duties as assigned

• Able to somehow convince everyone to sing at karaoke.
• Tendency to start the wave at a hockey game.
• Experience working in warehousing & distribution.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Desire to actively problem solve and think creatively to improve processes and complete tasks on a daily basis.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• History of working with food, either in a service, retail, or production role, and strong understanding of food safety and quality control processes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs continuously
• Ability to work on your feet all day, bending, leaning, crouching and walking
• Ability to work for extended periods of time, and entire shifts in our walk-in refrigerated coolers or freezers

This job duties of the Warehouse Coordinator are also known as General Labour, Production Worker, Order Picker, Warehouse Associate, or Forklift Operator in other Companies, but at a Coordinator level. 

• An annual salary, based on experience
