Food-X is looking for a full-time, permanent Project Manager based out of our South Burnaby, BC head office (#105 5566 Trapp Avenue).

Duties & Responsibilities

As an experienced Project Manager, you will set the vision and direction for the current and next generation of FoodX Technology’s systems. In this role, you will be managing a number of projects with the goal of streamlining business operations and improving overall user experience. The ideal candidate is a well-versed project manager with proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, all while making an impact contributing to a cross-functional team. Your ability to creatively collaborate and execute team goals and directly contribute to the company mission of accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable e-grocery.


  • Communicate across multiple teams and stake holders
  • Own a varied set of projects
  • Budget management for projects $100K -> $xM
  • Set and stick to budgetary requirements
  • Stick to commitments to deliver value in agreed upon timeframes
  • Manage the workflow for critical projects
  • When faced with uncertainty you provide clarity
  • Contracts, Statements of Work, negotiations
  • Large customer management >$B
  • Ability to escalate and work with executives
  • Travel can be expected
  • Additional duties as required

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Exemplary oral and written communication
  • Ability to prioritize and maintain multiple project timelines
  • Experience working on internal projects as well as working with customers
  • History of successful budget management
  • Understanding of software development practices, Kanban (agile)
  • Ability to leverage partner companies to complete successful projects
  • Experience within professional services appreciated
  • Strategic thinker with tactical execution abilities
